By Bus – CTM:

You can book online in advance using your credit card. Tickets are usually available from 2 weeks before departure (please not that international payment is only available up to 72 hours before departure date). If you cannot book in advance don’t worry. Tickets are usually available to buy in person at the CTM office. M’Hamid is to found under the name “LAMHAMID GHOZLANE”.
Please be aware that the CTM offices are usually not in the main station as they have their own stations.

From Marrakech:
The CTM Bus leaves the Marrakesh Terminal near the Railway Station in the Gueliz at 11:15 am. We recommend that you purchase your tickets to M’Hamid the day before you would like to travel.
You will travel until the last stop. It is important that you let us know that you are travelling in advance to ensure that we will be waiting for you in the station.
It is simply a spectacular voyage, as one travels through a myriad of landscapes from the bustle of Marrakech through the breathtaking mountains to the calming and beautiful desert landscape of the M’Hamid.
Please be advised that there is no onboard toilet. However, the bus makes several stops. The first one on the outward journey is at Taddert (a lunch Stop of about 25 minutes) in the High Atlas mountains just before the Tichka Pass. Here you will have time to go to one of the nearby restaurants. The next stop is at about 4pm in the very modern CTM Terminus in Ouarzazate, where you will find a coffee shop & toilets. The next short stops are in Agdz, at the beginning of the Draa Valley, followed by stops in Zagora, Tagounite, Ouled Driss and finally arriving in M’Hamid.
From Casablanca:
The bus departs from Casablanca therefore the information above is applicable. The departure is at 7.30 am and will arrive around 9.30 pm.
If the bus is not available or fully booked, you can take another bus from Casablanca as far as Zagora. There is both a day bus and a night bus. You will arrive in Zagora at the CTM bus station on the main road. When you arrive in Zagora, you will need to continue travelling to M’Hamid (around one and a half hours). You have following options:
CTM Bus to M’hamid (if seats are available). Ask directly at the counter upon arrival.
Hired: Car Approx. € 20 – € 30 per day
Car/4×4: Approx. € 120 – € 150 per day
Grand Taxi (shared): – Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora Tagounite – Bounou, around € 15 – € 20
